Ed Khediguian, Senior Vice President, Franchise Finance

As senior vice president of CWB Franchise Finance, Ed is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mortgage and asset-based lending business to the hotel and restaurant sectors. Ed has over 20 years of experience in the lodging, hospitality and restaurant industries.

Prior to joining CWB, Ed led GE Capital’s franchise finance division for over 12 years, was director of a private equity fund for the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDP Capital), worked for KPMG’s consulting and corporate finance group in Montreal and Toronto, and worked for Remington Hotels Corp. out of Dallas, Texas.

Ed attended McGill University’s John Molson School of Business and Cornell University’s Hotel School of Management, graduating with a bachelor of commerce and masters of management in hospitality respectively.

Cameron Woof, Account Manager, Hotel Finance

With over eight years of experience in hospitality financing, Cameron has a deep understanding of Canadian hotel owners’ and developers’ unique capital needs. As account manager, Hotel Finance, he has underwrote and managed nearly $1 billion in hotel assets – providing financing solutions for owners and developers of hotel properties.

Cameron holds a bachelor of commerce from the University of Guelph’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Ian Ricci, Account Manager, Hotel Finance

Ian Ricci is responsible for originating financing to owners of branded hotels in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. He has been involved in over $1B of financings ranging from new construction, repositioning, take-out, acquisition and refinancing. In total, Ian has over 15 years of hotel industry experience with a focus in the financial sector.

Prior to joining CWB, Ian worked at GE Capital in a similar capacity originating and structuring mortgage debt to hotel owners across Canada. Before entering the finance sector, Ian was an Associate with HVS International in Toronto and Vancouver, and worked in a variety of operational roles with Hilton International in Quebec City and Chicago. Ian received a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Guelph.

 Ian Ricci
Jacob Mancini, Senior Manager, Restaurant Finance

As senior manager, Restaurant Finance, Jacob oversees all aspects of the restaurant lending business which provides financing for branded restaurant chains on both a corporate and franchisee level. Jacob specializes in portfolio and business development for both national and regional chains.

Prior to joining CWB, Jacob spent 13 years and held several roles within GE Capital’s franchise finance division, including 9 years in commercial and business development, 2 years in sales support and operations, and 2 years as a credit and structuring manager.

Jacob received a bachelor of commerce in finance from the University of Guelph.

 Jacob Mancini
Dimitri Mazur, Account Manager, Restaurant Finance

Dimitri has over eight years of commercial lending and structured financing experience across various industries in Canada. Since 2011, Dimitri’s focus has concentrated on branded restaurant financing within the quick-service and full service sector, facilitating take-out, acquisition, new construction and refinance solutions. He also manages all restaurant financing in Quebec. Dimitri holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, specializing in economics and French literature.

Trish Halliwell, Account Manager, Restaurant Finance

With over 15 years of experience in commercial lending, Trish brings diverse cross-functional expertise spanning sales, risk, portfolio management and operations to her role as account manager, Restaurant Finance. Trish has developed relationships and created customized financing programs with restaurant chains across Canada, in addition to establishing lending solutions for both corporate and franchisee level transactions in the casual dining and quick service segments.

Trish previously held roles with GE Capital in Risk as a structuring manager for the hospitality finance group, as well as a sales portfolio manager, where she led the management, oversight and control of GE’s portfolio of restaurant and hotel loans. Trish holds an honour bachelor of commerce degree with a major in marketing from the University of Guelph.

Tara Mascitelli, Portfolio/Risk Manager

Tara Mascitelli is the risk and portfolio manager for CWB Franchise Finance. In this role, Tara monitors the financial performance of both the franchise portfolios. Tara has been involved in lending within the franchise sector for 10+ years. In her previous roles at GE Capital Franchise Finance, she held the title of account manager on both the restaurant and hotel side of the business. Tara received a bachelor of business administration with a major in finance from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Patrick Schofield, Portfolio/Risk Analyst

Patrick is responsible for driving growth with emerging restaurant brands, as well as managing existing relationships for two national restaurants’ programs. Patrick has four years focused experience in the hospitality finance industry, providing structured debt to branded restaurant and hotel ownership groups.

Prior to CWB, Patrick worked at GE Capital in various roles with the franchise finance group. During this time he gained in-depth knowledge of the branded restaurant sector in Canada as well as a strong understanding of both restaurant and hotel operations as they relate to debt financing.

Patrick attended the University of Guelph, where he received a bachelor of commerce in management economics and finance, graduating with honours.

Wendy Black, Senior Documentation Specialist

As senior documentation specialist for CWB Franchise Finance’s restaurant financing portfolio, Wendy is responsible for the preparation of loan documentation from approval to funding for a variety of commercial loan structures for the restaurant sales team.

Wendy brings 13 years of closing experience from previous roles at GE Capital Franchise Finance and GE Capital Equipment Finance. Previous to working at CWB Franchise Finance and GE Capital, her experience was in the education, legal and banking sectors.

Tania Marques, Documentation Specialist

Tania is a documentation specialist for CWB Franchise Finance’s restaurant and hotel financing portfolios. In this role, Tania is responsible for drafting loan and security documentation, perfecting collateral security and reviewing third party agreements.

Prior to joining CWB, Tania was a documentation specialist at GE Capital for four years where she worked in franchise and fleet financing. Tania is trilingual, and holds a bachelor of arts from McGill University and a bachelor of law from Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Quebec Bar Association and the Young Bar Association of Montreal.
