We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Macklem to Senior Manager Hotel Finance for Western Canada, CWB Franchise Finance. In this role, Michael will lead the organization's efforts for hotel lending for CWB Franchise Finance for key hotel owner/operators and developers across Western Canadian markets. 

Prior to his joining CWB Franchise Finance, Michael spent three years at Masterbuilt Hotels Ltd. in complex and demanding role of Director of Development. Michael was responsible for identifying, analyzing and executing ground-up, hotel development deals across Canada by underwriting hotel location markets while establishing integrity-based relationships to acquire land and negotiate JV/LP deal structures for partnerships with landowners, developers, and equity investors. Michael is a graduate from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration. 

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Schofield to Senior Manager Hotel Finance for Eastern Canada, CWB Franchise Finance. In this role, Patrick will lead the organization's efforts for hotel lending for CWB Franchise Finance for key hotel owner/operators and developers across Eastern Canadian markets. 

Patrick originally joined the Franchise Finance team when the team operated under the GE Capital organization in January 2012 as a Co-op intern during university. Patrick joined the business full time in May 2013 following graduation and has since help a wide range of roles across the Franchise Finance business. The most recent was as a Structuring Risk Manager overseeing the preparation and oversight of credit applications and portfolio management. His well-rounded Franchise Finance experience and common sense approach to business, and his commitment to build inspired, focused and engaged teams make him a great fit for this crucial new role in the CWB Franchise Finance business. Patrick is a graduate from the University of Guelph in Management Economics in Industry and Finance. 

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Cameron Woof to AVP Hotel Finance & Syndication, CWB Franchise Finance. In this role, Cameron will lead the organization's efforts for hotel lending for CWB Franchise Finance for key hotel owner/operators and developers across Canada. Senior Managers Patrick Schofield and Michael Macklem will report into Cameron in these efforts. 

Cameron originally joined the Franchise Finance team when the team operated under the GE Capital organization in April 2008 as a Structuring Risk Manager. Cameron evolved to a Account Manager for the hotel sector focused on western Canada in August of 2011 and now will manage the whole organizations efforts nationwide against the hotel sector. Prior to Franchise Finance, Cameron, work at HLT Advisory, focused on providing consulting services to the Gaming, Hotel, and Tourism sectors. Cameron is a graduate from the University of Guelph in Hospitality & Tourism Management.
